I was born and brought up in Pune (India). Education took me to the other end of the country in Kharagpur (West Bengal). I was privileged to spend five very fulfilling years at IIT Kharagpur for my undergraduate studies which really broadened my outlook. Since graduation, I have been pursuing a career in investment banking. After spending ~5 years in Mumbai, I relocated to London where I have been based since last 3 years.
I intend to spend another five to ten years abroad and eventually at some point return to India to start something of my own. I am looking for a partner who is willing to have a career in UK / Europe and open to relocate back to India in the long term.
I like reading non-fiction, watching TV shows and documentaries and playing cricket. I play club cricket in UK fairly regularly and have also done preliminary lessons in scuba diving an skiing. I would prefer a partner who would be equally keen to travel and explore new places and activities.
Despite staying away from home since young age, I would describe myself as quite familial and closely attached to my family back in India. I would expect my partner to have similar level of bonding with her own and my family.
I am a confident, hardworking and passionate professional working in the Engineering sector within a reputed organisation, here in the U.K. Originally from India, I have been raised with modest cultural values, but have adapted myself accordingly to the U.K. Culture and its lifestyle, having lived here for over 3 years.
I enjoy a varied list of hobbies which include dancing, playing and watching cricket, music, movies, cycling, running, travelling amongst others.
I am interested in someone who is caring, independent, well-educated and believes that, marriage is friendship, for life!
Thank you for going through my profile. Look forward to hearing from you.
