As a family we all are well settled in the UK for many years. I (father), retired as a Consultant Physician from the UK National Health Hospital. Currently, I am in the Caribbean with my wife, Sunila, as I have taken up the position of a Senior Consultant Physician there. Originally, we are from Solapur / Pune area. We regularly visit our relatives in Pune - Mumbai. My wife ( M.Sc. in Microbiology ) has been a housewife.
My elder son, Parag is also a postgraduate in Medicine from Cambridge and is training to be a Cardiologist. Both sons are very close and live together in our house in Cambridge. Parags wife, Ketki ( M.Tech ) is from Navi Mumbai and has a very gentle, loving and caring nature. She has happily and thoroughly merged in the family. They are blessed with a little boy and recently a baby girl.
We are a closely knit family and have a simple life style. Although well settled in the UK for many years, we maintain Hindu culture and do Pooja and festivals. None of us eat any meat / fish, drink any alcohol or smoke. We all speak Marathi at home.
Ours is a happy family with a loving, homely and pleasant atmosphere. We enjoy travelling all over and more so together.

Thank you for visiting the profile! I am Nachiket Ashtaputre. I have completed my schooling from Satara and moved to Pune for Engineering. I started my job in Pune in July 2011. My company has relocated me in 2014 for a five-years term to Swindon UK, near London (one hour journey by train). I like to follow some hobbies (travelling, sports, etc) routinely and respect others interests and passions. I am looking for a match who is interested in pursuing her career. Though I am very flexible in approach, I believe in family values and humane ways. We belong to a middle class, nuclear family with moderate values. I believe in freedom of space with responsibility.
I was born and brought up in Pune (India). Education took me to the other end of the country in Kharagpur (West Bengal). I was privileged to spend five very fulfilling years at IIT Kharagpur for my undergraduate studies which really broadened my outlook. Since graduation, I have been pursuing a career in investment banking. After spending ~5 years in Mumbai, I relocated to London where I have been based since last 3 years.
I intend to spend another five to ten years abroad and eventually at some point return to India to start something of my own. I am looking for a partner who is willing to have a career in UK / Europe and open to relocate back to India in the long term.
I like reading non-fiction, watching TV shows and documentaries and playing cricket. I play club cricket in UK fairly regularly and have also done preliminary lessons in scuba diving an skiing. I would prefer a partner who would be equally keen to travel and explore new places and activities.
Despite staying away from home since young age, I would describe myself as quite familial and closely attached to my family back in India. I would expect my partner to have similar level of bonding with her own and my family.
