As a family we all are well settled in the UK for many years. I (father), retired as a Consultant Physician from the UK National Health Hospital. Currently, I am in the Caribbean with my wife, Sunila, as I have taken up the position of a Senior Consultant Physician there. Originally, we are from Solapur / Pune area. We regularly visit our relatives in Pune - Mumbai. My wife ( M.Sc. in Microbiology ) has been a housewife.
My elder son, Parag is also a postgraduate in Medicine from Cambridge and is training to be a Cardiologist. Both sons are very close and live together in our house in Cambridge. Parags wife, Ketki ( M.Tech ) is from Navi Mumbai and has a very gentle, loving and caring nature. She has happily and thoroughly merged in the family. They are blessed with a little boy and recently a baby girl.
We are a closely knit family and have a simple life style. Although well settled in the UK for many years, we maintain Hindu culture and do Pooja and festivals. None of us eat any meat / fish, drink any alcohol or smoke. We all speak Marathi at home.
Ours is a happy family with a loving, homely and pleasant atmosphere. We enjoy travelling all over and more so together.
