Rakesh's bio in his own words:
Hi! I owe a lot to my Mumbai based upbringing in an upper middle-class family, which has made me into a multi-cultural, highly adaptable, smart and a people loving guy. My lovely parents brought me up in the typical TamBrahm way, whilst also nurturing broad-minded thinking and modern outlook towards life. I am a very positive thinker and embrace modern culture quickly, whilst respecting the traditional culture and am a proud teetotaller. Like my parents, I am liberal minded and at the same time God-loving person. I have always wanted to be an engineer; my keen interest for automobiles, driving and coding pointed to a clear career path and hence my B.Tech Mech from VIT and my career at TVS Motor’s R&D. My company chose to sponsor my Masters at Warwick University in the UK, which I have recently completed. Sports form an integral part of my everyday life, I passionately follow football (will be happy to explain you the offside rule too!) and cricket (CSK and Dhoni fan!) the most. I regularly play badminton. I relish travelling with a close group of friends, especially to scenic places. I have recently taken a liking for photography (like good ones with editing and stuff, not selfies!). My friends and family describe me as a charming, affable, trust-worthy, stylish and witty guy and my sense of humour has its own fans; regular laughs are guaranteed around me. During my alone time, I enjoy watching English sitcoms and am a fanatic lover of ‘FRIENDS’. If you know the show, I guess I am like Ross! I love listening to music and I even sing and have participated in band performances; somewhere between a Super Singer and an amateur singer one could say. Last but not the least in anyway, food! Absolute foodie here, who loves every cuisine, from pasta, pizza, panipuri to parupu usili, potato fry and sambar and am a coffee fan! I am here looking for my best friend for the rest of my life, a great second daughter to my parents and a loving second family, in return for one of the nicest in-law families for you! Thanks for taking the time to read through.
