My daughter is was born and brought up in Chennai. after postgraduation in Journalism, she is now working as senior reporter in leading national english daily. We are looking for a bridegroom who understands her and nature of job and support her.She is modern yet very god fearing.
My daughter did her schooling in East Africa has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Cornell college, USA and did her Master's in LSE London.
She works remotely for a UK company as an education professional .
She currently based in Vietnam for a short term assignment.
She is a friendly, vivacious independent and smart. Loves travelling and likes music , reading, cooking.
she can speak French and Spanish.
Predominantly brought up in Manchester, UK and Chennai, I have an international upbringing rooted in Indian values and culture. Widely travelled and read, I am looking for a partner who values love and respect.
I have made this profile on behalf of my daughter. In Vaishnavi's own words:
I am a quiet, unassuming sort of person amongst strangers but vivacious and funny in the company of people I know. I love classical music and dance having trained in both but I also love film music. I am a movie buff and enjoy Tamil, Hindi and English films. A sucker for rom coms, they clearly are my favourite genre. I love dogs and if you don't like them, I think you should read no further because it certainly would be a deal breaker for me. I am very close to my family and clearly, they are very important to me. Everyone in my family barring my mother ( uncles, aunts, dad, brother) are all very good musicians. For some of them it is a chosen career.
Oh before I go any further, I do need to tell you that I was adopted by my parents when I was a baby of 2 months old. This is not a big deal to any of us, least of all me but again, if this is an issue with you - please don't read any further. I am very close to my brother and sister-in-law. They live in New York and work there.
I don't have any deep desire to settle out of India but the US is perhaps a country I may consider only because my brother lives there.
What else? I am short but reasonably pretty ( or so I am told) , I love biryani and momos but am quite happy with home cooked food. I don't cook much- only for lack of opportunity - it is not something I am averse to doing.
I am kind, warm, affectionate and very loyal. I am no great intellectual - don't understand much about politics or religion but have a great sense of humour.
I work in a company of which my parents are the founders - a publishing house and education company whose work has impacted the lives of several thousand children in India and across the world.
I would prefer a partner who is kind, and caring , respects my choices and nurtures my growth as much as I will support his. The idea is to grow together and be the best of friends to each other. I would not like a person who is a rolling stone but someone committed to his job, family and career. I prefer a non-smoker. An occasional social drink is not a problem but would like to avoid the habitual drinker.
Best wishes to you in finding your partner.
